Suresh Gopi in DIet and Losses 20Kgs

People were really surprised to see Tamil actor Vikram, after he shed his weight for one of his movie. He cut off his six pack body which he had got after immense of exercise. Even actress Kareena too became zero size for her movie Tashan. In Malayalam too, actors like Jayasurya, Mammootty and many others have sacrificed with their looks and weight for many of their movies. Now, the latest actor to enter the list is Suresh Gopi.

Suresh Gopi has reportedly shed 20kgs for his upcoming movie Malutty Sabu. The movie is touted to be comedy film, directed by Prasanth Mambully. Suresh Gopi will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar and will be seen essaying a thug and a broker Sabu from Muvattupuzha.

Sabu is forced to marry a girl who he doesn't like, and flees from his native place owing to circumstances. Later, he comes back as Saravanan Muthalali, a successful businessman in Alappuzha, and the following events form the rest of the plot.

There is also a story on how he got the name Malutty Sabu. Once he happened to fall in a well after drinking too much of alcohol. Later Fire Force came to get him out of there. A similar incident is shot in the yesteryear old movie Malutty and so, people nickname him Malutty Sabu.

If reports are to be believed, Suresh Gopi might get a bald look in this movie, so that he gets perfectly suited to the role. "The movie depicts two phases in the life of Sabu. In the flashback, he plays a 35-year-old man, and for the look he has to lose weight," says script-writer Babu Janardhanan. The female lead is yet to be decided.

Joy Mathew is also seen in this film, as toddy shop owner from Cherthala. The movie will be shot in locations including Ottapalam, Alleppey, Thodupuzha and Guruvayoor.
