Director Vijay takes baby Sara in his BMW

Director Vijay’s Saivam’s songs are out and Azhagu sung by Uthra, daughter of Carnatic and playback singer Unnikrishnan is capturing the listener’s interest. Saivam is scored by G V Prakash and the film has Nasser, his son Baasha and baby Sara among others.

According to the director, Saivam portrays his childhood and recalls his younger days when his grandmom used to wait for all her grandchildren to come home for vacation. The film is shot in Karaikudi.

While talking about working with child artists, Vijay says that it is both a challenge and also fun. Generally children like chocolates but baby Sara is different. Director Vijay states, “Sara is not fond of chocolates. So I would take her on a drive in my BMW and then shoot later.”

Saivam's cinematography is taken care by Nirav Shah and editing by Anthony. The film is slated to hit the screens soon.
