Vadivelu’s comeback vehicle, Tenaliraman directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan ran into rough weather when Telugu associations of the state protested against the release of the film saying that it hurt the sentiments of the numerous Telugu speaking people. There were also writ petitions filed against the film produced by AGS Entertainment.
However, today, 16th April, the Madras High court has dismissed the writ petitions, that sought the ban on the film, thereby paving the way for a smooth release of the film. This means that Tenaliraman would hit the screens as scheduled on the 18th of April 2014.
The film stars Vadivelu in two roles along with Meenakshi Dixit, Manobala and others. Imman scores music while Ramnath Shetty handles camera.
