  • “It will be very different from my first” by Piaa

Aarohanam was Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s debut directorial film that won good critical acclaim. The director is now busy completing her second project, very interestingly titled ‘Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe’ (NVM) starring Piaa Bajpai, Shruti Hariharan and many others.

The film is nearing completion. When talking to Behindwoods correspondent, Lakshmy says, “NVM can be called a travel film that will also be a family thriller. It will be very different from Aarohanam”.

On the progress of the film, she adds, “Piaa has completed her part and now there are few scenes that will be shot with the hero. We will be shooting in and around Neyveli and Kumbakonam and will be back by the 13th of July after which the dubbing will begin”.

She also updates that audio is likely to release by July end or August beginning and the film should hit the screens by end of August or beginning of September.

On the music department, Lakshmy avers, “There are four songs scored by Madley Blues out of which Naa Muthukumar has written three and Thiaru has written one. Shankar Mahadevan, Chinmayee, Nandini Srikar and Mili have done an excellent job”.
