Jai – Nazriya Nazim starrer Thirumanam Enum Nikkah, produced by Aascar Ravichandran, will release on May 15th. The movie has music by Ghibran, and is directed by debutant Anees.
In a recent interview, Anees said that he wanted his first movie to address the younger generation that takes their religion as their identity. He says, “When I was growing up, Hindus would pay respects to the most respected Muslim leader of the village during temple festivals, and Muslims would be a part of the group that would pull the temple chariot. But somehow, we have come to a stage today when differences are perceived as a problem.”
He says, to break the myths surrounding religious and social communites, he made Thirumanam Enum Nikkah.
