Superstar Rajinikanth to miss Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony

The BJP Prime Minister-elect Mr. Narendra Modi will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India this evening (26th May 2014) at New Delhi.

There were quite a few celebrities from the tinsel town who were invited for this historic occasion.

 It has been stated that invites have been sent to Superstar Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar to name a few.

However, reports suggest that Rajinikanth will not be attending the swearing-in ceremony. It is stated that he is currently shooting for Lingaa in Karanataka. It should also be recalled that Narendra Modi had met the Kochadaiiyaan hero on one of his campaigning trips to the state some time back.
