The confusions over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mani Ratnam's film have finally got a clarity with the actress announcing that she is part of the project.
We have recently reported that the project was shelved and the lead actors Mahesh Babu and Nagrjuna along with Aishwarya have opted out of the film over script issues. But now, her claim has ensured that the film is still on.
"Yes, I'm doing Mani Ratnam and Sanjay Gupta films as well.The choices are about working with these film-makers and on those subjects, because I find them exciting". She was introduced to films by the Tamil director in Iruvar and since then, she has worked with him in many films.
"Abhishek and I both feel that apart from being an exemplary film-maker, it's just a pleasure to work with Mani sir. There's something he is always exploring creatively, and it makes the entire team want to push themselves. Working with him is exciting and inspiring, and we are like family," Aishwarya Rai told in an interview with Anupama Chopra.
The project came to limelight when the talks with Mani Ratnam and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan begun. Later, Telugu actors like Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna revealed about their excitement of being part of the film. Recently, both the stars have reportedly told media that they have walked out of the film due to some issues.
