150+ Screens of Kochadaiiyaan at Kerala

As we all know, the much awaited Rajinikanth starred movie Kochadaiiyaan is all set to get released worldwide on May 9. As usual, this time too, Kerala is giving full support to this Tamil movie too with 150+ theater release!

Now, this is one of the biggest opening in Kerala. Even a Malayalam movie of the superstars there will not get such a huge release. This clearly indicates the hype of the movie as well as the number of fans the actor has in Kerala.

According to reports, the theatrical distribution rights of the film have been acquired by the Chennai based multiplex major Sathyam Cinemas, through their distribution arm SPI Films. It has also been reported that the theater bookings too have already started.

Kochadaiiyaan and Rajinikanth is ruling the social media now, after the actor joined Twitter. The actor got the maximum number of followers in a single day and again has created a record. He crossed two lakh followers in a day.

Deepika Padukone plays th female lead in this film. She plays the role of a warrior princess in this historical fiction based on the life and times of Pandya king Kochadaiiyaan Ranadheeran.

Now, as per the recent reports, Kochadaiiyaan is releasing worldwide over 5500 screens in multiple languages and this marks the biggest-ever opening for a Rajinikanth film!
