Vijay's 58 movie has just got bigger and better with the inclusion of Kiccha Sudeep into the cast. The news has been officially confirmed by the Kannada superstar that he is playing alongside namma Illayathalapathy and he is excited about it.
The makers of the film wanted a top name to play an important role in the upcoming flick. They had considered a couple of actors and Kiccha Sudeep was their first choice. The Kannada actor took two months time before giving a nod due to his busy schedules.
Confirming the news, Kiccha Sudeep said that he had received a lot of Offers post the success of Naan Ee. But the roles were not exciting. Hence, he did not sign movie in other languages. Chimbudevan had met him two months ago and discussed about the project.
Well, what made the Kannada actor take up the project is that the team waited for his approval for two months, which shows that the team him in mind for the role. "It is not a period or historical film... but a fantasy film, which is a new genre for all of us in the team. Every subject has a bright and a grey shade. One reason why I agreed to do this project is that Chimbudevan didn't approach me looking for a villain. He's done a good job with the characterization," Sudeep told the Times Of India.
