Ishqiya is a Hindi movie that was released a few years ago, which had Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and a few others among the important cast.
The latest update is that, plans are on to remake the movie as a bilingual in both Tamil and Malayalam.
It is said that Lakshmi Rai, who is valued both in Tamil and Malayalam, has been approached for Vidya Balan's role.
Speaking about the offer, she mentioned that she had watched the movie and would be happy to take up the role, because it is a meaty one.
However, she stated that it is too early to talk about it as nothing has been confirmed yet.
