Legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja is finally getting an official fan club. Now, the time is set for it, as his song Karthik Raja is game to launch a fans club in the name of his father.
The fans club will be launched on April 5. But this organsiaton will stand different from the rest, as the aim of the organsiaton is to reach out to people on behalf of Ilaiyaraaja.
"This will be a fan club with a difference. Its purpose is different from other fan clubs of other stars. The purpose of a fan club is to reach out to the audience on behalf of the artist and we will achieve it through the club, " Karthik Raja told the IANS.
The fans club will be launching a weekly magazine called Isaignani. The organsiaton will also be indulging in social activities. "We plan to launch a weekly magazine called Isaignani, which will give out information regarding my father's current projects and so on. We also plan to carry out social activities," he added.
Karthik Raj is a well-known music director, who has worked in different film industries like Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. He has composed music for more than 50 films.
