Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s first Tamil film was Poda Podi with Simbu as hero. The film was noticed for Varalaxmi’s dancing skills among other features.After her first film, she had not accepted any role but she will be doing her second film under Bala’s direction which is based on Karagaattam.
On the gap between her 1st and 2nd film, Varu, as she is fondly called, explains, “There is absolutely no necessity for me to act in films. I will do a film only if I like it”. She also adds that she has not set herself any target on the number of movies that she has to work in a given period of time.
Varalaxmi is currently preparing for her film with Bala.
