Director Samuthirakani opens up about his favorites in the industry

Director Samuthirakani who recently tasted good success with the Jayam Ravi - Amala Paul starrer Nimirnthu Nil, is gearing up for the release of the movie's Telugu version, starring Nani in the lead.

Towards the month end on March 28th or the start of April, we can expect Janda Pai Kapiraju to release and the director would be hoping to repeat the success of the Tamil part in Andhra too.

The director in a recent interview opened up on his liking and wish for the future. When asked who his favorite director was, he quickly responded with A.R.Murugadoss' name while the film which has impressed him the most in 2014 is Vijay Milton's Goli Soda. He also avers that Nimirnthu Nil is his most challenging project till date.

The actor that this intense film maker wishes to direct in future is none other than Thala Ajith. Well, a mass hero teaming up with a hard-hitting director, surely has the makings of a good film. We have to see if this combo works out in future.
