The film features cinematographer Natraj aka Nutty in the lead role who is also lauded for his performance. Sathuranka Vettai is about a conman Natraj who with his intelligence cons the gullible.
In one of the episodes, he sells a snake to a trader and makes him believe that snakes can hear and hence orders him to not speak at all. In fact he explains that it is better not to call the reptile a snake and instead names it innovatively as Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The subsequent events related to the name Ilayathalapathy are quite attention-grabbing.
There are also efforts to name the snake as Ajith and Rajinikanth. Quite interesting indeed!
