Soundarya Rajinikanth, in a recent interview, was asked what she will tell Simbu if she had been a journalist. She jocularly said, “Paadaatha Simbu.” (Simbu, please don’t sing)

The fans of the actor took offense to this jovial comment, and started abusing Soundarya on various social media platforms. Simbu had to intervene to prevent more such hate messages.

Simbu: “Everyone has their right to comment about anyone. I request fans to stop this abusive approach. Please treat others the same way u treat me.”

Simbu: “I can see the love you guys have for me, and I respect that. I request you to show the same love towards others as well... Thank you...”

Soundarya: “Simbu is one of my dearest childhood friends :) Whatever I said was for fun, and there are no hard feelings between us!!!”
