Kida Poosari Magudi. As the title, meaning deity, suggests, it is a period film. Music is directed by Maestro Ilayaraja, and comprises of 5 songs.

Reportedly, the maverick composer had accepted the offer only after watching 80% of the footage.

The film is beeing shot at the Cuddalore district. The very pulling factor of the movie is that Powerstar Seenivasan plays an important character of something like Rajini sir's role of a Barber in the Mahendran directed cult hit Johnny.

After a hiatus, Powerstar takes the Superstar route? 75 days of the shoot is already done, and just 20 more to go to finish the movie and proceed to post production.

With a bunch of newcomers in the lead, the film also has Singampuli, Paerasiriyar Ramasamy, Sevvazhai Rasu and Bonda Mani enacting important roles.

Directed by Debutant Jayakumar J, the film introduces actors Tamizh, Ramdev and Natchathira as the leads. Produced by Thamizhmani under the banner, Tamizh Thirai Virutcham, Kidaa Poosari Magudi talks about love from a different perspective.
