We had reported yesterday that the music of the Karthi starrer Madras would be released on the 23rd of June. Santhosh Narayanan scores the music for this Ranjith directorial.

Meanwhile, the film in all likelihood looks to be in for a July 25 release, according to an industry birdie. Nothing is official yet about this release date though.

Dhanush's Velai Illa Pattathari is also eyeing a release in the 3rd week of July and it looks like audiences would get to enjoy Madras and VIP around the same time.
