Upcoming actor Vinu Dhamodhar who was trained in Koothu-P-Pattarai and has also acted in a Malayalam and Telugu film, has been roped in for Taana in a small but significant part. His role is expected to be a turning point in the protagonist's life.
Taana is 40% complete and the team would be travelling to Kerala next week for a little schedule of about 2 to 3 days. Siva Karthikeyan, Prabhu Ganesan, Imman Annachi and Vinu would be part of the entourage to Kerala.
Taana is set for release in the last week of September or the early part of October. Dhanush is producing the movie and the release rights have been grabbed by Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
