Poonam Pandey arrested

Poonam Pandey, the Bollywood actress and model who shot to fame with her promise that she would strip if Indian cricket team won the World Cup in 2011, is again in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

She was arrested last night (2nd May) in Mumbai for allegedly behaving indecently in public but was later released giving a stern warning by the police.

It was said by the Mumbai police that Poonam was wearing skimpy costumes and was indulging in indecent acts. The actress was booked under sections 110 and 117 of the Mumbai Police Act. More details are awaited on this.
