  • More Difficuilt to Act Like Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha by Ragni Dwivedi

It's a known fact that South lass Ragini Dwivedi is essaying ace actress turned politician Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's role in forthcoming film Amma, which is being directed by Faisal Saif.
The latest buzz from the makers is that Amma is a multi-lingual flick, which will now be made in all South Indian languages - Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and National language Hindi.

Amma is all set to go on-floors on the occasion of Ragini Dwivedi's birthday, May 24 2014. Speaking to Bangalore Mirror, director Faisal has denied that Amma is based on Jayalalithaa's life. "Jayalalithaa is a living legend and is commonly known as Amma. But every woman is Amma.

I do not deny that our film tackles political issues. But it is about a small-time woman's struggle and the pain she endures to become an icon in a short span of time. It is still too early to speak more on the film. We will put an end to all the speculations on May 24. But I would say that no other actress would have dared to touch the film. She was my first choice and the best. The killer smile Ragini has is the same that I had envisioned for my character Amma.
