Now, the actor seems to have achieved a rare feet. He has topped the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Men of 2013, beating Indian Superstars like Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Suriya and popular cricketer Virat Kohli.
Times conducted a poll on the Most Desirable Men of 2013 and 7.34 lakh people took part in this survey. Recenty, the list of 50 celebs has been unleashed Online and Mahesh Babu has landed in the No 1 spot. Talking to Hyderabad Times, the Telugu actor said, "It's great to be appreciated and loved by fans from across the nation. I'm happy and would like to thanks everyone who has voted me to this position."
When quizzed about his achievement, Mahesh Babu said, "Over the years, I have worked very hard to achieve what I have so far. But I've not been alone in this journey. A lot of the credit for this goes to my fans - it's because of them that I'm here today. I'm quite shy, so it's overwhelming when this kind of recognistion comes my way. I'd like to say a big thank you to all those who love me and recognise the work that I do."
