Is this Rajini's period look in Lingaa?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie Lingaa, directed by KS Ravikumar, was officially launched today. The team started the proceedings with a customary 'poojai' at the Samundeeswari temple in Mysore earlier this morning (2nd May). Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty and Jagapathi Babu play the other leads in the movie.

According to reports, Lingaa is a period romance movie that continues till the present age. There are also reports that Rajini will be taking up a dual role in the movie.

At the 'poojai', Rajini was attired in a white shirt and veshti, and looked as simple as ever. With an appropriate wig and twitched moustache, he looked like a zamindar of the earlier days, indicating that this might be Rajini’s makeover in the period segment.

Meanwhile, the industry is abuzz with praises and expectations for Lingaa.

UTV Dhananjayan said, “Superstar looks young & great in Linga... Happy to see him getting back to shoot... Wishing the film to be a mega blockbuster :-)”

GV Prakash said, “Thalaivar is back.”

Vikram Prabhu said, “So happy to see Rajini Sir back in action. He is looking Super! This is his treat for the love we fans have shown him till date!”

Well, no one seems to escape the Superstar Charm.
