Even after completing its successful 150days of theatrical run, Malayalam's recent hit Drishyam is still the talk of the town.
The movie, which has broke all the possible records in Mollywood and world wide Box Office for Malayalam films, has now created new records in DVD and VCD sales.
The DVD, VCD and Bluray prints of Drishyam, which was released to market on last Friday, May 9 2014, has become the hot cake for Malayalam flim lovers. Sources from Mollywood said that the authentic copy of Drishyam has been pre-ordered for quite a long time. It is reported that DVD, VCD and Bluray prints were out of stock in most of the shops by Friday evening.
Drishyam, which happens to be biggest Malayalam Blockbuster, is the story of a man's plight to cover up a murder committed by his family. The film, which was directed by Jeethu Joseph, had Mohanlal and Meena in the lead role. The movie also made a huge buzz at South Indian Market for its remake rights. Biggies of South film industry are all set to essay the lead role in the their respective languages. Kannada version of Drishyam, which has Crazy Star Ravichandran and Navya Nair in leads is likely to release by the end of May.
