Will Kochadaiiyaan release on May 9th?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is the first Indian film that is made under motion capture technology directed by his second daughter Soundarya Ashwin. The film’s music is composed by A R Rahman and the songs are already a hit with the listeners.

The film is all set to hit the screens on May 9th but there are quite a few rumors that seem to say that Kochadaiiyaan may not release as planned due to financial reasons.

But pushing all that aside as baseless rumors, Rajinikanth’s wife and Soundarya’s mom, Latha Rajinikanth says that Kochadaiiyaan will release on the 9th of May and that she will see the film along with the fans in a theatre as always.

When asked if superstar will also watch his film in theatre, Latha says that it is not possible. She adds, “Across the length and breadth of the country, people recognize him wherever he goes because of his walk and that’s why he can’t go anywhere alone.” Price that a celebrity pays, one should say!
