Jilla directed by Neason starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal completed one hundred days and there was a celebration to commemorate this yesterday (18th April) in Albert theatre, Chennai.
Talking at this occasion, Vijay thanked everybody who worked in this film from his costars to technical team to director and producer.
To his fans he said that hard work always succeeds and in other words people who have succeeded in life are all hard workers. He requested the new age directors to complete the film within two hours and thirty minutes as beyond that, audiences become restless and start looking at their watches.
Vijay also recalled that there were many tense moments during the shoot of Jilla due to his earlier film but he advised director Neason to not take anything in his mind but just concentrate on his work which has actually paid dividends in the form of the film's 100 day run.
Talking about Jiiva, Vijay said that he likes the company of the Ko star who constantly used to make him laugh during the shoot of Nanban. Vijay also revealed that Jiiva knows quite a few magic tricks. On a very lighter note, he requested Jiiva to produce more films and continue to give him a chance in his films.
The event was attended by Vairamuthu, Super Good Films R B Chaudhery, Jiiva and many others associated with Jilla and success shields were given to many.
