The international angle in 'Thala 55'

The upcoming Ajith - Gautham Menon film will begin its filming on the 11th of April. A pooja ceremony was held today in a noted Shirdi Saibaba temple in Chennai, and the ceremony was attended by Gautham and producer A.M.Ratnam among others.

All along, there was some uncertainty about the cinematographer for this film and the 2 names which were tossed around were Australian Dan Macarthur and Indian cinematographer S.R.Kathir.
We now have concrete information that it is Dan who would be handling the camera for 'Thala 55' and he himself has confirmed the same in Twitter. Many Ajith fans are already showering him with a lot of love and support.

Dan has prior experience with Gautham as he has also signed on for the Simbu - Gautham film which commenced a few months back.
