To see director Pawan Kumar and filmmaker Rakshith Shetty working on the same project was the biggest wish of Kannada audience, who were bowled over by Lucia and Ulidavaru Kandanthe. Seems like the wish is coming true as the duo have now joined hands for a thriller, which will also be a crowd funded movie.
Yes it's not a rumour or gossip from any media houses, but the fact revealed by director Pawan Kumar himself. The critically acclaimed filmmaker has took his micro-blogging site to confirm the news of him working with Rakshith Shetty.
"True. We both had story ideas which were going to be very dragged narrative if stretched to a feature length. So we thought of doing this... You will get to watch two films at one price. About this being crowd funded.. We have a few producers who are excited about this project.. n they may produce it... as long as we are not under too much pressure to modify the stories for assured returns. If it comes to that, then we may opt for crowd funding to stick to the original script. That way even if the film is a dud at the box office... the losses are minimal or nil. Will keep you all posted. Currently waiting for Rakshit to pen down his ideas. And both the films will have its own cast n crew. I am quite excited about that part," Pawan Kumar posted on his Facebook wall.
