Kerala State Film Awards 2013-14: Winners List

The Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2013-14 has been announced and the winners list are quite surprising. Even before the winners were announced, the awards had been into a controversy where people claimed that the jury members did not see the all 85 films that were contending for the awards.

Suraj Venjaramoodu and his movie Perariyathavar, which won at the National Awards, was not in the list and was included at the last moment afgter National Awards were announced. Jayaram and Suraj were rumoured to be in race for the Best Actor. Now, the result is listed below.

The winners of the Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2013-14 are:

Best Actress - Ann Augustine (Artist)

Best Director - Shyamaprasad (Artist)

Best Comedian - Sura Venjaramood (Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus, Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum)

Best Supporting Actor - Ashok Kumar

Best Supporting Actress - Lena ( Left Right Left, Kanyaka Talkies

Best Second Film - North 24 Kaatham

Best SInger (Male) - Karthik ('Janmandharangalil...')

Best Singer (Female) - Vaikom Vijayalakshmi ('Ottakku paadunna poonkuyule...')

Best Child Artist - Sanoop Santhosh (Philips And The Monkey Pen), Baby Anitha (5 Sundarikal)

Best Cinematographer - Sujith Vasudev (Ayaal, Memories)

Best Story Writer - Aneesh Anwar (Zachariyayude Garbhinikal)

Best Script Writer - Bobby, Sanjay (Mumbai Police)

Best Lyricist - Prabha Varma ('Ezhu sundara...'), Madhu Vasudev ( 'Otakku paadunna poonkuyile..')
