Jigarthanda’s cameraman Gavemic U Ary throws some light on the film saying that director Karthik Subbaraj is a huge Tarantino fan, and that he aimed to get a similar kind of grit and energy in this film.
Gavemic and Karthik travelled all around Madurai to scout for locations that will present the bustling city in a new way for the audience. Gavemic has also supposedly worked with interesting lighting ideas to enhance the mood and performances of the film.
