  • Dookudu Remake the Movie name of Puneet Rajkumar and Trisha Krishnan New Movie

Seems like the makers Sandalwood's forthcoming movie, which is the remake of Telugu hit Dookudu starring Power Star Puneet Rajkumar and Kollywood Queen Trisha Krishnan is facing lot of hurdles to finalise the title. The movie, which is presently busy with its final shooting schedule was on floors with its working title Rajkumara. Later it was named as Adipathi, which was almost confirmed from the sources close to the makers.

But now the latest buzz is that the makers have zeroed the title as Ashwathama, which is said to be the inspiration from the character with the same name in Mahabharata. Confirming the news of finalising the title, director K Madesh said, "After several rounds of discussions, we have decided on the final title, as it perfectly suits the script. Puneet's role in the movie is close to Aswatthama's character, which we have heard in Hindu's ancient epic Mahabharata." (See Photo: Trisha Krishnan With Puneet Rajkumar).

Sources from Gandhinagara has said that as the movie named Adipathi is already been made in Kannada with Dynamic Hero Devraj long ago, it was not possible for the makers to finalise that title, for which they have now renamed it as Ashwathama.
