Deepika Padukone seems to be ready to act in her second Tamil movie. The Bollywood diva, who is gearing up for her debut Kollywood film Kochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth, has been approached by Chimbu Devan for his next movie with Vijay. She is likely to to give her nod for the upcoming flick
The buzz says that Deepika Padukone has shown interest towards the project. Despite being busy in Bollywood, the Bengaluru-based actress doesn't want to turn down the film. She is likely to sign the flick in coming days.
Sources say that Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone were in the race. But the former could not take up. Hence, the latter remained the prime choice. A formal annoucement could be expected in the next few weeks.
Deepika Padukone is currently busy with Hindi movies like Finding Fanny starring Arjun Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year. Apart from these projects, she has not signed any flick.
Meanwhile, Chimbudevan, whose Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum is releasing today (April 4), will start working on Vijay's project soon. It will take off in August, as the actor is busy with his next film Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss.
