For people who are tuned into films, it is a well known fact that Vishal and Arya are good friends. Their camaraderie extends to their professional life as well when both of them recommend each other to producers and directors for apt scripts.But it looks like both their films are pitted against each other releasing on the same day not in Tamil but in the neighboring Andhra. Vishal’s Pattathu Yaanai got released as Dheerudu while Arya’s Raja Rani hit the screens as Raja Rani.
If initial reports are to be believed, both the films have got decent openings with Dheerudu catering to action buffs while Raja Rani to Nayanthara and G V Prakash’s music.
Expressing his happiness in micorblogger, producer A R Murugadoss (for Raja Rani) says, “Delightfully thanking Telugu audience for making #RajaRani a big hit with ur warmest reception congrats @atlee_dir & d entire team 1ce again”
