The only two profitable movies of 2014 are Goli Soda and Thegidi

Tamil Film Producer’s Council Head Keyaar, who was a guest in the Vaayai Moodi Pesavum Audio Launch, said, “2014 has not been that good for Tamil Cinema.

Out of all the releases, only two have been profitable – Vijay Milton’s Goli Soda and P Ramesh’s Thegidi.” Keyaar also shared a rare, but interesting snippet about Thegidi - the movie's second week collection exceeded its first week's. He said, "The first two day collections of the second week equalled the first week collections."

Goli Soda stars the Pasanga guys Kishore, Sree Raam, Pandi and Murugesh, while Thegidi has Ashok Selvan, Janani Iyer and Jayaprakash in the lead. It is to be noted that Goli Soda recently completed 50 days in a few screens across the state.
