- It's officially confirmed that Anushka Shetty will indeed be sharing screen space with Thala in Gautham Menon movie.
- The earlier reports of Anushka being dropped out of the project have all been thrashed as mere rumors.
- It's also official that Harris Jayaraj will re-unite with Gautham Menon after their split up in Varanam Aayiram for Thala 55. The duo have delivered huge chartbusters in Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and Vaaranam Aayiram.
- This may not be officially confirmed but this is definitely the biggest buzz currently going around regarding Thala 55, The buzz is that Thala Ajith might play a dual role in the movie wherein he plays both the Hero and the villain.
- An official press release regarding the movie is expected to be out on March 19th.
