  • K Off To Australia To Score Kallappadam Music

Music director K has followed the popular trend of modern-day musicians, who travel different countries to churn out peppy tunes in peaceful places. The young composer is off to Australia to score songs for the forthcoming Tamil film Kallappadam.

"Since the makers of the film feel music as well as recording has no land barriers, they have decided to record the music of the film in Australia. K has left for there and is extremely delighted with the opportunity," a statement said.

The press release adds that one of the highlights of the film will be K's anthem track on women.

"The special feature of K's music in this film would be the special anthem for the women, sung by Maghizhini of Kumki. This anthem was recorded on March 8, which is celebrated all over as International Women's Day," added the statement.

Interestingly, K will be seen in one of the lead roles in Kallappadam. And other highlight of the film is that three other technicians of the film are playing lead roles.

The film's director J Vadivel, cinematographer S Sriirama Santhosh as well as the editor Gaugin play the lead roles in the film, which is produced by Anand Ponniravan. Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli plays the female lead.
