Director Balaji Mohan can be considered as one of the pioneers who set the route of short films to feature films for aspiring film makers. His first film Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi was a laugh riot that had Siddharth and Amala Paul as leads. His second film Vaayai Moodi Pesavum is a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam starring Dulquar Salman and Nazriya Nazim is all set to release soon.
While talking about the experiences in shooting a bilingual Balaji Mohan says that he indeed found the process difficult as it requires the same shot to be taken twice and it is a bit tough to retain the same energy in both. On an extension of this topic, Balaji says, “My next project would definitely not be a bilingual”. He also adds, “There are talks to have Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal on board. I have narrated my one liner to Dhanush and he has liked it. It is definitely not a love story.” He sums up saying that he would work on the script after releasing Vaayai Moodi Pesavum.
