  • Will Purampokku join the class of Chandralekha?

Chandralekha, an evergreen classic that released in 1948, is one of the very few movies that’s remembered for its magnificent production designing. Now, the makers of Purampokku are hoping that their movie would make it to that elite list.

A massive prison set has been erected in Binny Mills, Chennai and the word is that its vastness and authenticity will stun the spectators.

A 45-day schedule for Purampokku has started at this very set and currently, Arya and Shaam are taking part in the shoot. Vijay Sethupathi and Karthika Nair will join the crew next week.

Directed by SP Jhananathan, Purampokku is funded by UTV Motion Pictures and has cinematography by Ekambaram.
