The Telugu remake of Hindi super-hit film OMG! Oh My God was to go on floors long back, but Power Star Pawan Kalyan's political entry halted its shooting.
With the Power Star completing his political campaigning, Victory Venkatesh is now gearing up to kick-start its filming. Pawan Kalyan's friend Sharat Marar has confirmed that the movie will go on floors in Hyderabad on May 19.
Talking to the media, Sharat Marar, who is co-producing the film with D Suresh Babu, says that he is planning to release this untitled remake of OMG! Oh My God in September. The producer said, "The regular shooting will start from May 19. By then, Pawan Kalyan will be relieved of his political duties and can concentrate on shooting. If all goes well, we plan to release the film in September."
Venkatesh will reprise the role of a shopkeeper originally played by Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal in Hinid film, while Pawan Kalyan appears as Lord Krishna originially essayed by Superstar Akshay Kumar. Tadakha fame Kishore Pardasani has been roped in to direct this remake. The maker of the film are yet to reveal the details about other cast and crew.
The remake of OMG! Oh My God is produced with a big budget under the banner of Suresh Productions. The makers have not revealed about its budget, but sources from the industry claim that it will be made on budget of Rs 35 crores. Pawan Kalyan is reportedly charging Rs 10 crores for the shooting of 10 days.
