After getting vowed with Kiccha Sudeep's directorial venture Maanikya, which is the remake of Telugu hit Mirchi, Kannada audience are now all set for the release of another much hyped Kannada movie Gajakesari starring Rocking Star Yash.
Both the movies, which was expected to get released on Ugadi festival, was also considered to be the biggest clash at Karnataka Box Office. Later Sudeep cleared the speculations behind the clash of two movies on his micro-blogging site, who had tweeted, "We surely ain't clashing n if u think it's gonna be negative to us then I guess they deserve th best. cheers."
After the mutual understanding between the distributors of both the Kannada films, Gajakesari's release was scheduled to May 16, 2014, but now the latest buzz from the makers of Gajakesari have cleared the release date of the movie to be postponed for a week. The movie, which has now scheduled its release date for May 23, 2014 is said to be maintaining the safe Distance from another much hyped multilingual movie Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan.
Sources from Gandhinagara has said that as Kochadaiyaan is acquiring the maximum number of screens in Karnataka, Gajakesari will be running out of theatres after a week. This is the main reason for the makers to postpone the movie's release.
