Kannada actress Harshika Poonacha had recently caught the attention of the cine-goers with the lip-lock scene from her recent release B3. The actress, who was seen in the glam role for the first time in her career is now all set to play call girl in Sandalwood's forthcoming movie The Gulabi Street.


Harshika has completed the photoshoot for the film, which is being directed by Pradeep Varma. The actress, who takes it as a challenging role in her career, has made few preparations for the role by visiting a foreign country, where the prostitution is legal according to law.

"I don't like to reveal the name of that particular country. It is my duty to give judgment for my role, which I have considered to be very challenging. I was observing the mannerism, body language of prostitutes and the way they seduce the people," says Harshika, who is a very shy girl by nature.

"All they are doing it for money. I felt very bad to see the way those girls seducing the people. Still I managed to be at the spot as it was necessary for my role." Apart from Harshika, The Gulabi Street also features Bhavana Rao and Shweta Pandit in the lead roles. Harshika will be seen as Daisy in the movie.
