Vishal's lip-lock with Lakshmi Menon has garnered good publicity for Naan Sigappu Manithan. It has, indeed, attracted mass audience attention. But on the other end, it has cost the film 'U/A' certificate. Had the film got 'U' certificate, it would have been eligible for 30% entertainment tax exemption. The makers of the film wanted to deleted the scene to bag a clean chit from Regional Censor Board but reportedly the actor was adamant on having it, as it is very important sequence.
