  • Rs 50 Lakhs Spent On Renovating A Bar For Madhu Maadhu Soodhu

Forthcoming movie Madhu Maadhu Soodhu is about an incident that takes place during a New Year celebration. To give a realistic touch to the film, the makers of the film took an old bar and renovated it to fit their requirements.

The producer has shelled out about Rs 50 lakhs from his pocket to refurbish the old bar in Tirupur. The Madhu Maadhu Soodhu team shot the film around 40 days in one schedule in the premises.

"We took a real bar in Tirupur and completely modified its interiors for about Rs 50 lakh. We shot the entire film in that bar for about 40 days in one schedule," read a statement from the production house Rajashanthru Films.

Madhu Maadhu Soodhu will hit the screens in May. Currently, the post-production works are in progress. The story of the Tamil flick is about a brawl at the bar on the New Year eve.

"The film is slated to release in May and currently the post-production work is going on in full swing. The film's story is about a drug addict, who gets embroiled in some incidents during New Year celebrations," the statement read further.

Silanthi fame Chandru, who has now been rechristened as Rajashanthru, has directed, produced as well as played the lead in the film. Newcomers Chandana and Vignesha are in key roles in Madhu Maadhu Soodhu.
