  • Vijay's Kaththi Title Gets Thumbs Up From Celebs

    The announcement of the title Kaththi of Vijay and AR Murugadoss' forthcoming movie has come as a big relief for fans as they have been waiting to know about it for quite a some time. And also, the director's decision to break the suspense on the same has also made cine journalists happy as they had issues referring to the film even though people called it as 'Vijay 57'.

    Indeed, AR Murugadoss' title announcement has also put an end to the speculations related to the film's name. On the other end, the Illayathalapathy fans are celebrating the occasion and expressing their happiness over the mass title. It has impressed them and they are praising the director's choice in unison.
  • An FIR on Siva Karthikeyan's Taana

    With Maan Karate all set to release in the beginning of April, Siva Karthikeyan will begin shooting full-fledged for his next, Taana with director Durai Senthil Kumar. Till now, about 2 to 3 days of shoots were done in Pammal, in the outskirts of Chennai and the shoots will resume in full flow from the 15th of April.

    Siva and heroine Sridivya will participate in the shoots from the beginning, and Chennai would be the place of action. The team plans to wrap up the proceedings in one stretch in about 65 to 70 days.
  • Vikram Prabhu's next film to have an Army backdrop

  • Damaal Dumeel to follow Thegidi and Kalyana Samayal Saadham

    Abinesh Elangovan’s TCS Studios, who was associated with a few promising projects like Thegidi and Kalyana Samayal Saadham has got hold of Vaibhav starrer Damaal Dumeel.

    Also starring Remya Nambeesan, Sayaji Shinde and Kota Srinivasa Rao in the central roles, the film has music by Thaman and cinematography by Edwin Sakay.
  • Vengai Puli to release this Friday

    This weekend, the Tamil dubbed version of the 2011 Telugu hit Wanted will be released all over Tamil Nadu, as Vengai Puli. Vel Films, popular distributors will be releasing the movie in sizable number of screens.

    Gopichand, Deeksha Seth and Prakash Raj play the lead roles in this commercial mass entertainer with Prakash Raj playing a mean antagonist on the lines of his Ghilli role. The distributors aver that Vengai Puli would be racy and action packed like the recent Singam 2.
  • The first look teaser of Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham will be out on Friday

    Santhanam starrer Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by comedian Srinath. The movie is a remake of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna, which was a big hit.

    It is to be noted that Srinath is an associate of late cinematographer-director Jeeva, and has acted as a comedian in many films including Ullam Ketkume and Santhosh Subramanaiam. He earlier directed Muthirai.
